Papa Roach Teams Up with Make-A-Wish
Papa Roach recently partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make an ailing fan's dream come true. Longtime Papa Roach fan, Mark Guerra, who is currently battling a brain tumor, wished to record a joint-EP featuring his band, Breaking Boundaryz, and Papa Roach, presenting an opportunity that the Papa Roach members immediately jumped on.
Throughout the 3 day excursion, Papa Roach treated Mark and guests to a VIP experience at the band’s Sayreville, New Jersey concert, before stepping into the studio to record the 4-song EP on the following day. On day 3, Papa Roach brought Breaking Boundaryz to the offices of their record label, Eleven Seven Music, where the label announced that it would release the EP digitally and donate a percentage of the profits to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The entire three-day experience was filmed by the Fuse network, which will air the full 3-day experience on November 26.
Papa Roach is currently touring in support of their latest studio album, The Connection- which hosts the hit singles, “Still Swingin”, “Where Did the Angels Go”, and “Leader of the Broken Hearts”. More information on Papa Roach, and Pearl artist Tony Palermo, can be found here.
