Papa Roach Live in Los Angeles

Simply put: “Wow.”

In typical, signature fashion- Tony Palermo and Papa Roach came, saw, and completely conquered Los Angeles with a terrorizing set that dismantled the packed house of the Club Nokia at LA Live!  Strolling into the Music Mecca riding atop another Top 10 single, “Where Did the Angels Go”, Papa Roach delivered a ferocious hit-filled set that kept the mosh-pits circling, the crowd singing, and the several thousand others in attendance picking their jaws off of the floor while the pandemonium infused set roared on.  Papa Roach is currently touring off of their latest studio release, The Connection, which was released last October and hosts the singles “Still Swinging”, which peaked at the No. 3 position on the Mainstream Rock Charts, and “Where Did the Angels Go”, which recently cracked the Top 10 of the Rock Charts.

Sitting center stage, rising high above the masses of flailing crowd-surfers and fanatical faithful, sits the cause for the craziness, Pearl artist, Tony Palermo.  Leading Papa Roach through a lengthy 70-minute set filled with the familiar anthems that have invaded our radio airwaves for the past 20 years, Tony crushes each track with a passionate delivery that defines rock drumming and personifies Papa Roach’s sound.  Papa Roach’s current co-headlining venture gave Tony a chance to debut his latest creation- a custom Masters MCX kit finished in Black Cherry (335) and complete with a 26” bass drum and special order tom sizes.  A drum set that is truly put through the ultimate test of durability each night through Tony’s murderously hard hitting, with the quality of the Pearl brand being proven though the warm tones of the all-maple shells, Tony’s Masters MCX drums are a true masterpiece in every aspect and a quintessential tool for the rockstar rock drummer in all of us.  The full specs are as follow:

Although Papa Roach’s current co-headlining US tour is coming to a close, the band’s incredibly high demand has them scheduled for another monstrous tour with support coming from Robert Ortiz and Escape the Fate.  For more information, and to keep up with the band’s whereabouts, please visit the official Papa Roach website at www.PapaRoach.com.  Also be sure to pick up a copy of their new album, The Connection, available wherever music is sold.
