P.O.D. to Embark on US Headlining Tour!

The multiplatinum selling, Grammy nominated rockers, P.O.D. have announced their upcoming summer tour plans, which include a headlining trek that’s set to invade a town near you this coming July!  With the first date falling on July 13th, at the Brat Shop in Kenosha, WI, P.O.D. will be bringing their explosive and hit-fueled live concert around the States for 5 weeks, before closing at the Fremont County Fairgrounds, in Riverton, WY, on August 17th.  P.O.D. has been touring the world in support of the highly popular studio album, Murdered Love, which was released last July courtesy of Razor & Tie Records.  Murdered Love includes the chart topping single, “Lost in Forever,” which landed at the No. 1 position on the Active Rock Radio Charts, along with the other charting singles, “Higher”- which held steady ground in the Top 10 on the Active Rock Charts, and the more recent, “Beautiful”- which currently resides at the No. 24 position, and climbing.  The full list of dates for P.O.D.’s upcoming summer tour can be found below.

Longstanding Pearl artist, Wuv Bernardo, is a founding member of this highly successful rock sensation with his heavy rock groove being a major factor to the band’s unmistakable sound.  Wuv provides P.O.D. with the perfect blend of rock and rap, taking even the most-simplistic of beats and turning them into an edgy, hard-hitting, ferocious rock masterpiece that makes it next to impossible for the listener not to bob their head to.  On this upcoming summer tour, Wuv will be relying on his Masters MCX drums to provide the huge, heavy, chest-pounding tones that are essential to the P.O.D. concert experience.  Finished in the gorgeous Mocha Tamo lacquer finish, the 6-ply, all-maple shells of Wuv’s Masters MCX drums offer a resonant and warm sound, along with that full bodied punch that rock drummers dream about.  Wuv’s current setup is as follows:

Masters MCX: Mocha Tamo (805)
22x18- bass drum
10x8- rack tom
12x9- rack tom
16x16- floor tom
18x16- floor tom
