Korn to Perform Debut Album for 20th Anniversary Celebration
In celebration of the monumental 20th anniversary, rock icons, Korn, have announced they will be performing their self-titled debut album during select dates of their 2015 world tour. Korn, the album, has sold over 10 million copies since its release on October 11th 1994 and is considered to be the most important nu-metal release of all-time. Korn will perform their self-titled album in its entirety, including the fan-favorite track, “Daddy”, which Korn front man, Jonathan Davis, previously said he would never play due to the difficult and personal subject matter. More information on Korn and their 20th anniversary performances can be found at www.Korn.com.
Pearl Artist and Korn drummer, Ray Luzier, will celebrate a milestone of his own next month as he reaches the 8 year anniversary of joining the hard rock giants of Korn. To celebrate, Ray Luzier will be hitting the road for the “Prepare for Hell Tour” which also features Slipknot and King 810. This lengthy fall trek kicks off next week at the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, TX, on October 29th, and will continue throughout the majority of North America until the final tour stop at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, in Lowell, MA, on December 7th. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
In regards to both the 20th anniversary of the band, and his personal 8 year anniversary, Ray states:
"I'm really stoked that Korn is celebrating 20 years of existence! This month starts my 8th year with the band and I couldn't be happier to be a part of such a legendary group that has helped change lives and has had such an impact on so many. We're just getting ready to start the "Prepare For Hell" Tour with our buds, Slipknot.
After the Slipknot dates end overseas in January, we'll start playing the entire 1st Korn record and then some hits at the end (of the set list). Diehard fans are gonna freak... Jonathan said that he'd never sing "Daddy" live, but he's gonna do it!!! See you all out there and thanks for the support!"
