Korn Inducted into Hollywood's Historic RockWalk

Tuesday, October 8, 2013, marked a historic day for one of rock’s most legendary bands, as the multi-platinum and Grammy Award winning hard-rockers, Korn, cemented their place in history -literally- with their induction onto Guitar Center’s world famous RockWalk, on the renowned Sunset Strip of Hollywood, CA.  This highly publicized event, which was reported on around the globe, appropriately occurred on the same day that Korn released their 11th studio album, The Paradigm Shift, which has been one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, and hosts the chart-scorching hit single, “Never Never”, which currently resides at the No. 3 position on the Active Rock Charts.  In regards to the induction, RockWalk chairman, Dave Weiderman states, "Korn is about as innovative and influential as they come. They have been purveyors of metal's progression since their formation, and are even credited with creating the nu-metal subgenre. For these reasons, and many more, Korn is exactly the type of band the RockWalk is here to honor."

Just a day earlier, on October 7th, Pearl artist, Ray Luzier and Korn performed “Never Never” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, making their TV-promo debut in support of The Paradigm Shift.  This performance, and the current slew of headlining tour dates that Korn is currently embarked upon has given Ray Luzier the opportunity to reveal his new, Reference Series drum set, which is finished in the classy Natural Maple lacquer and topped off with black hardware.  The Reference Series has become Ray’s go-to line of drums, giving him the ability to achieve the exact tones needed to achieve Korn’s unmistakable and signature sound due to the varying components and individuality constructed into each drum in the Reference Series line, as explained in the Reference Series Recipe.  Ray’s specs for ‘The Paradigm Shift Tour” kit are as follow:
