Korn Announces Full Tour to Celebrate Self-Titled Album

After a handful of highly successful one-offs, hard-rock titans, Korn have announced a full US tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their historic self-titled debut album.  This monumental tour is scheduled to hit smaller and more intimate venues around the US, beginning at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL, on October 1st, and continuing throughout the entire month of October before closing at The Fox Theater, in Oakland, CA, on October 30th.  A full list of tour dates can be found below.

At each stop of this trek, Korn will be performing their debut self-titled album in its entirety, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release.  Korn, the album, is considered by most to be the cornerstone of the mid-90’s nu-metal genre, inspiring a countless number of bands and musicians, selling millions of units, launching the band’s now-storied career, and  being named “the most important metal album of the last 20 years” by Rolling Stone.

Pearl Artist and drumming icon, Ray Luzier, will be turning to his preferred Reference Series drums for this run, configured in a simplified and slimmed-down setup- in comparison to Ray’s usual rig- as a way of paying homage to the band’s roots.  This yet-to-be-unveiled but guaranteed must-see kit will be topped by Ray’s go-to snare drum, the 14x6.5 Phosphor Bronze Free Floating snare drum.   More information on Ray Luzier can be found here.
