Disturbed Scores Fifth Consecutive #1 Album with ‘Immortalized’

Hard rock heavyweights, Disturbed, have landed their fifth consecutive No. 1 album with the release latest studio effort, Immortalized, which hit the shelves last week.  Backed by the immediate and chart-topping success of the band’s debut single, “The Vengeful One”, this latest No. 1 ranking honors Disturbed as only the third group to score five consecutive No. 1-debuting studio albums, joining the likes of Metallica and Dave Matthews Band.  In regards to this tremendous accomplishment, the band took to their official Facebook page to state:

“The Disturbed Family is proud to announce our 5th consecutive #1 Billboard Debut with ‘Immortalized’!

With your help, in the face of staggering odds and mighty competition, we have once again made history!  Words cannot properly express the level of gratitude, love, and appreciate we have for each and every one of you Disturbed Ones; whose loyalty, devotion, and united power, continue to astonish both the members of this band, and the rest of the world!”

Immortalized marks Disturbed’s first studio release since 2010’s Asylum, and symbolizes the end of the band’s excruciating four year hiatus.  In support of the new album, Disturbed- who are backed by, Pearl Artist, Mike Wengren- will be hitting the road in early 2016, kicking off at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, on March 3rd, and continuing through the US and Canada until the tour-closing show at New Daisy Theater in Memphis, TN, on April 10th.  A full list of tour dates can be found at  More information on Mike Wengren can be found here.
