Dethklok Announces Summer Tour

From the TV screen, you your local arena, Dethklok is coming! The virtual-turned-actual metal band from Adult Swim’s animated TV program, Metalocalypse, has announced their co-headlining North America arena tour with Lamb of God. The 32-date tour will kick off on August 1st, and continue throughout the US and Canada for 6 weeks before ending on September 15th, in San Francisco, CA. Filling in for the animated, “Pickles the Drummer”, is Pearl artist, Gene Hoglan. Known for his incredible speed and tremendous footwork, Gene Hoglan has held the throne throughout all of Dethklok’s live tour dates, perfectly performing the heavy and hard hitting tunes made famous through the animated program. Known as the go-to drummer in the metal world, Gene’s flawless drumming has been the major factor toward his resume being filled with some of the biggest names in metal, including, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Testament, and several others. On the upcoming Dethklok tour, Gene will be joined on stage alongside his Reference Series drums, finished in a custom Carbon Mist (Grey Charcoal) lacquer, and topped off with black hardware.
