Chevelle Releases Trailer for Upcoming Live DVD

A trailer for Chevelle‘s forthcoming live DVD/CD effort, “Any Last Words?” was released online earlier this week, has hit the web and can be here, courtesy of YouTube. The set captures the band’s 10th anniversary performances at The Metro in Chicago, IL, that were performed in late-October of 2010. The filming was helmed by director Frankie Nasso (Mudvayne, All That Remains), and is set to be released through Epic Records on January 11th.

Chevelle’s late 2009 release, “Sci-Fi Crimes”, peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 album chart with sales of about 46,000 in its first week of sales. With hit singles such as, “Letter from a Thief”, and, “Jars”, which both held long-term stays within the top 5 of the Active Rock Charts, Chevelle spent majority of 2009 and 2010 packing the house throughout every stop on the road, topping their touring cycle off with the main-support slot to Barry Kerch, and Shinedown, on the highly successful Carnival of Madness Tour last summer.

Sam Loeffler, drummer, has spent the entire Sci-Fi Crimes campaign behind his beautiful Masters Premium (MRP) drums finished in a striking Red Glass finish. The 6-ply, all maple shells make for very full bodied and warm sounding drums, which help Sam to achieve the mid and low range tone that is splattered throughout Sci-Fi Crimes. The Red Glass Glitter finish, which is accented beautifully by the black lugs and hardware, makes for a stunning centerpiece on Chevelle’s stage, and fits perfectly into their stage theme.
