WARNING: The following video could cause uncontrollable jaw-dropping and possible drooling, along with an irrepressible sense of awe, amazement, and inspiration to practice drums for countless hours in hopes of learning to play like Alex Rudinger.  You have been warned.

Pearl artist, and drumming extraordinaire, Alex Rudinger has released a new drumming video that is- simply put- incredible.  A play-along video to the song “Xenochrist”, a fan favorite track belonging to Alex’s newly joined band, The Faceless, Alex displays a little bit of everything throughout this 5 minute long masterpiece- blistering speeds, flawless timing, absolute ambidexterity, fluent independence, impeccable technique, and an endless supply of fills and technical rolls that are guaranteed to make you wish YouTube had a slow-motion button.  Only a matter of days since launching this latest video on his YouTube Channel and it has already garnered over 54,000 views, and quickly rising.  Throughout the video, Alex relies on his go-to Masters Premium (MMP) drum kit, finished in Walnut Lacquer and topped off with a 14x6.5 Reference Steel snare drum.  Alex Rudinger’s play-along video to “Xenochrist” can be seen below.

Along with the release of this new video, Alex has released a plethora of tour dates as well, as The Faceless is gearing up for a lengthy US Tour alongside The Dillinger Escape Plan.  The tour kicks off at The Palladium in Worchester, MA, on April 20th, and will spend the remaining 6 weeks winding its way around the US before coming to a close at Kingdom in Richmond, VA, on June 1st.  Touring in support of their latest album, Authotheism, which was released in August of 2012, The Faceless will be bringing more of the high energy, in-your-face, technical thrash that has assisted in making them one of the biggest forces in the tech-metal scene today.  More information on The Faceless can be found on the band’s official Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/TheFaceless, while a full list of upcoming tour dates can be found below.
