(hed)P.E. Announce The Hardcore Unity Tour

While California-based hardcore pioneers (hed) P.E. have enjoyed successful albums, and even registered a Top 30 Modern Rock single, they are now embraced as one of the top underground acts on the independent scene. Since joining the Suburban Noize Records stable in 2006, (hed)P.E. has enjoyed a rebirth of grand proportions. After a series of releases with major labels that stifled the band’s creativity, (hed)P.E. has been embraced by an underground movement that celebrates the musical melting pot that their music exemplifies. The group has created a dedicated following by opening sold-out tours for Tech N9ne, Kottonmouth Kings and Papa Roach, as well as selling out venues across the country and overseas on their own headlining tours. This September, (hed) P.E. will begin the latest chapter to their ever expanding underground movement when they embark on The Hardcore Unity Tour, with support from Slaine.

As he has for the past 2-plus years, Pearl artist, Jeremiah “Trauma” Stratton will be backing the hardcore hip hop quintet, with his trusty Vision Series (VBL) drums providing the power behind the band’s aggressive sound. The quick attack and high volume of the 100% birch shells found in the VBL Series, prove to be the perfect choice when trying to achieve (hed)P.E.’s signature sound. Often needing to transition from more simplistic hip hop beats to heavy, hard-hitting pandemonium, the VBL line, mixed with Trauma’s explosive drumming, bring an all new force to the band’s highly energetic live performance.
