Gilad, percussionist, composer, and clinician, has been recognized by Jazziz magazine as one of the world's top percussionists. He was considered a child prodigy, and began playing professionally at the age of 7! Gilad started by playing classical music then moved on to exploring other styles, including jazz, world music, and TV and theatre productions. Gilad moved to New York in 1990, where he became in constant demand for both live performances and studio recordings in the area and around the world. He has toured the world with Al Di Meola and has performed with artists such as Dennis Chambers, Kenny Werner, Mark Eagen, Richard Bona, Mike Stern, Toots Teilman, Omar Faruk Telibek, and many more. Gilad currently plays with jazz musician Oliver Lake and Santi Debriano, while recording and touring for his own project, ON 3.
