OverviewTrent Fancher performs nightly at Planet Hollywood in the Saxe Theater for the long-running show "Vegas! The Show." Over 5,000 people come weekly to see the show and enjoy the 11 piece band and cast of singers and dancers. Prior to this show, Trent worked with Wayne Brady in his hugely popular show “Making %@it Up” at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The show enjoyed a three year run and was one of Vegas? most attended shows, earning the “Best of Las Vegas” award.
Trent has been Wayne?s drummer for the last eight years. He has toured all over America, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. During this time, he has made many television appearances with Wayne including “The Talk”, “The View”, “The Sharon Osbourne Show” and “The Wayne Brady Show.” He has appeared several times on Canada?s televised comedy festival “Just For Laughs” as well as HBO?s “Comic Relief: 2006.” A new live DVD has just been released (December 2010) from the 2009 Australian tour of “Making %@it Up” filmed in Sydney.
Recordings with Trent have been featured in ABC?s “Grey?s Anatomy” and the 2007 Academy Award nominee film “Lars and the Real Girl.”
Trent?s education includes high school at the nationally acclaimed Alabama School of Fine Arts where he studied classical percussion and music theory. He has performed with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra. College took him to Nashville where he attended Belmont University and studied commercial music and graduated with a Bachelor?s of Music with a Performance Emphasis.
In addition to performing, Trent and his wife, Jennifer, own and operate a home studio and record children?s music that is distributed in elementary schools throughout the country.
