OverviewBob Pimental has been drumming his whole life and professionally for 20 years. He is currently teaching at "Crossroads Music" in Hanover MA and is performing with Boston’s Premier Tribute to U2 "The Joshua Tree". The Joshua Tree can be seen regularly in the New England area and at special engagements throughout North America.
He has a strong list of credits including: a 'Boston Music Award' and a 'Boston Nightlife Award', has been featured in numerous local television shows and videos and has worked with artists such as the late Ben Orr (of "The Cars"), Sleepy LaBeef (Rockabilly Hall of Fame Inductee) and Igor Khoroshev (of "YES") to name a few. As for studio work, Bob has performed on many CD's and recordings and has composed and sequenced the drum tracks on Cakewalk's "Guitar Studio 1.0" software.
He is also a member of the Vic Firth Education Team, has been featured in Modern Drummer Magazine and DRUM! Magazine, and has authored 6 drumming books.
Bob has studied privately and has had Master Classes with teachers and artists such as; Mike Mangini (Berklee Faculty, Worlds Fastest Drummer), Dave DiCenso (Berklee Faculty,Clinician), Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa), Igor Khoroshev (YES) and John Varao.
He performs on a Pearl Master MCX Series kit with Black Sparkle Fade Finish. "These drums look great, sound great and can handle the rigors of the road. I depend on these drums and they never let me down. This is my favorite kit to date and I highly recommend it."
