Bravo For Hancock's Imagine ProjectBravo For Hancock's Imagine Project8/27/2010Richard Bravo is on the latest release from the Legendary Herbie Hancock. Richard Bravo also was honored to record in the studio with the Legendary Herbie Hancock for his Imagine Project, an unprecedented international recording and film project featuring collaborations between music legend Herbie Hancock and a dozen superstars from every region of the planet. Herbie's All-Star Band also included Latin Artist Juanes, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Marcus Miller for this landmark recording. Richard used the Elite Series Mahogany Series Congas and Bongos, Marc Quinones Signature Timbales, 32-Bar Aluminum Windchimes, and various hand percussion items.

The Imagine Project embodies an extraordinary lineup of international superstars from all corners of the world. Artists include Dave Matthews, Anoushka Shankar, Jeff Beck, The Chieftains, John Legend, India Arie, Seal, Pink, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Chaka Khan, K'Naan, Wayne Shorter, James Morrison, and Lisa Hannigan.

Product Spotlight Primero Series Fiberglass Bongos and Congas

Pearl is proud to feature the PPC202631 Primero Series Fiberglass Bongos and Congas, including Contour Crowns and polished steel hardware with Water Buffalo heads, all paired with added affordability. 

High-strength steel tension rods make the tuning process of these Bongos and Congas effortless, and allows the pitch of the instruments to remain consistent and reliable. The deep, warm tones produced by the Congas compliment the bright character of the Bongos. On top of it all, a durable high-luster gel coating ensures years of service and a great look. 

Previously available only in Natural Oak and Bistre Black finishes, Pearl is releasing the Primero Series Fiberglass Bongos and Congas in our beautiful Limited Edition #631 Ebony finish, crafted by a transfer process that allows the Fiberglass to resemble natural Oak. The Primero Series Congas measure 11” and 11.75” and Primero Series Bongos measure 6” and 7”.
