3/11/2010Pearl / WGI Mid-Season update with Gateway Indoor Percussion Gateway Indoor Percussion's 2010 program, BioRhythm, is performed by some of the best members in the activity. Universities represented in the group include Missouri State University, University of Missouri, Iowa State University, University of Illinois, Murray State, Webster University, University of Northern Alabama, University of Central Oklahoma, Pitt State University, and Missouri Southern State University, just to name a few.

Gateway members are marching or have marched many seasons of drum corps, including Carolina Crown, The Cavaliers, The Bluecoats, The Colts, The Madison Scouts, and several others.In addition, Artie Johnson, a 3rd year member of the group from the St. Louis area, was crowned the DCI I&E Multi Percussion Champion for his drum set solo during the 2009 drum corps season. Representing most of the midwest states, and with members coming from as far as Alabama, Gateway has also remained true to its St. Louis roots with a strong core of local members as well, who attend or graduated from high schools such as Lindbergh, St. Charles West, Parkway South, O'Fallon Township, Marquette, and many others.

Gateway has been a proud Pearl/Adams team since April of 2007, and has been in existence since 2004. Alexis Abril and Paul Richardson are the Executive Directors, and Chad Schaedler is the Education Director.
